NBS merino blanket giveaway terms and conditions

Promotion: Nelson Building Society (NBS) is offering attendees of the 2026 Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce ‘Inspiring Women Business Conference’ the chance to win a merino blanket (valued at $100) by filling out the associated “NBS merino blanket giveaway” online form (the Promotion). Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions by the entrants and their guardians (the Terms).

Eligibility: The promotion is open to all in-person attendees (Eligible Individuals). Directors, employees and contractors of NBS and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Entry: The promotion commences on Thursday 22 October 2026 and ends at 5.00 pm on Friday 23 October (the Promotion Period). To enter, an Eligible Individual must fully complete the online entry form during the Promotion Period.

Only one entry per person is permitted. NBS may verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not eligible or that is not in accordance with these Terms.

Winners: The winner will be selected by a random prize draw, drawn by NBS staff at NBS’ sole discretion. NBS’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Prize: The Prize, a merino blanket, is not transferable or refundable.

NBS reserves the right to decline to award the Prize to any entrant who NBS (in its sole discretion) believes has violated these Terms.

Notifying Winners: The Winner will be notified by the email provided within 4 working days of the end of the Promotional Period. If a Winner does not claim their prize within 14 days of NBS sending the email, NBS reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the Winner and select a replacement winner. NBS will notify the Winner how the prize can be claimed and if NBS determines it appropriate, how they can verify their eligibility.

Variation: NBS reserves the right to suspend or delay the Promotion Period, announcement date, amend these Terms, substitute any Prize for like value, or withdraw the Promotion completely at any time.
- Authority: By submitting a completed entry, the entrant consents to receiving marketing and promotional material by email from NBS.
- Privacy: Any personal information relating to an entrant will be used by NBS strictly in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and as outlined in NBS’ Privacy Statement at nbs.co.nz.
