Jen Low - Nelson Branch Manager

Jen is a proud born and raised West Coaster with a family history steeped in sawmilling, farming and boxing.

In 2017, my husband and I made the move to sunny Nelson with our two boys in tow. My parents and five out of my seven siblings lived here and as a tight knit family it made perfect sense. I was lucky enough to be offered a job by Peter Havill on the front counter at NBS Nelson branch. The rest is history”

Jen says NBS’ investment into local not-for-profit clubs and organisations helps build a strong and resilient community. Being a part of this is extremely rewarding.

“We've seen a huge change in the banking sector over the past few years, but NBS continues to stand by our core values and offer good old-fashioned service. It’s lovely to really know and support our clients and their families.”

Jen lives in Richmond, not too far from the Waimea Squash Club, if she’s ever required as a super sub.

In her spare time, she enjoys being active. A day hike up a hill, a yoga or a gym class and walking the dog are all on her preferred activities list.

Enjoying social time and overseas travel with family and friends are other favoured pastimes.
