Misplaced your card?
If you have misplaced your NBS Debit Mastercard, you can temporarily block it via our Mobile Banking App.
To do this, simply log into your App, select ‘Services’ (located at the bottom of the App), then ‘Manage Cards’, click on the card number and select ‘Temporary Block.’
If you find your card, contact us on 0800 101 700 and we will advise if you are able to reactivate your card or whether we need to order a replacement for you.
If you don’t locate your card, please call us on 0800 101 700 to organise a replacement.
Please note that you won't be able to reactivate your misplaced card (should you find it), as it will be cancelled when you order a new card.
The ability to temporarily block your card is not currently available via Internet Banking, but is coming soon with our new NBS Debit Mastercard.
Lost or stolen cards
If your card has been lost or stolen, call us immediately on 0800 101 700 (during business hours) or 0800 101 627 (after hours) so we can cancel the card. If you are overseas call +64 3 548 9928 (collect).
If you find your card after it’s been cancelled, you’ll need to destroy it.
