The Tata Beach Boat Ramp Committee have just received a welcome surprise to bolster their efforts to repair the eroded Tata Beach boat ramp.
Tākaka Branch Manager Dean Lund and Community Engagement Manager Nic Foster had the pleasure of delivering a brand-new car – an MG ZS EV Essence to local community group, the Tata Beach Boat Ramp Committee as the winners of our Win a Car Target Saver Account competition.
Driving up and down this boat ramp may soon be a bit easier thanks to this helpful contribution to their cause.
Initially reluctant to take the prize – believing there was a much more deserving recipient out there – they were happy to see the potential of a welcome boost to the coffers. The keys were handed over and swiftly handed back again as the committee looks to sell the car and put the funds towards their project.
