Planned Outage: SWIFT Network - 4 May 2024
The New Zealand banking system will be carrying out essential systems maintenance this weekend that will impact NBS clients making transfers between any New Zealand bank accounts.
Payments between NBS and other New Zealand banks from 11:00pm on Saturday 4 May will come out of your NBS account immediately, but will appear in the other bank’s account after 5:00pm on Sunday 5 May.
This includes automatic payments, direct debits, direct credits and bill payments. NBS clients can still transfer between their NBS accounts and use their cards in shops, online and at ATMs.
